On Deadline Day, Alexander Isak finally became ready for Liverpool. The record move, which cost the big club 130 million pounds, around SEK 1.65 billion, makes Isaac the most expensive player in Premier League’s history.
The 25-year-old has been quiet all summer around the situation. In August, Isak published a statement on Instagram where he more or less urged Newcastle to leave him.
Isaac: “Discussion for another day”
But after Sweden’s loss against Kosovo, Isaac chose to break the silence. The striker met the overall press corps and told us about the time that was.
– Mentally, it was a new situation for me, you learn and always develop. It’s a bit like it is, not everyone has the full picture but that discussion is for another day, says Isaac and continues:
– It is nice and fun that things were ready before the collection and that I could focus on football.
Isaac points out that much of what has been reported around him is not true.
– We will discuss it another day, but it is clear that much of what has been said has not sued. There will be a time and place for things. Right now the energy is on the national team and the disappointment after this loss
