Celtic Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of Kelechi Iheanacho with a one -year contract, subject to international authorization, and the club will have the option to sign one more year.
The 28 -year -old striker spent two years at Manchester City at the beginning of his professional career and won a champion of the League Cup during his stay in Etihad.
He subsequently signed for Leicester City, where he would play more than 200 games. During his stage at Leicester, he worked under Brendan Rodgers and won the FA Cup in 2021.
In 2024, Kelechi moved to the Spanish team, Seville, before spending the end of the 2024/25 season on the English championship team, Middlesbrough.
