The Tight End Star of the Vikings, TJ HoClenson, is back to the highest form this season. After having played only ten games last season, due to a recovery from the cross ligaments, Hochenson will be willing to perform this season.
At 28, TJ Hochenson enters the best years of his career. In 2023, before his injury, he had collected a total of 95 balloons for 960 yards and 5 touchdowns. He hopes to come back to similar bases this season, and he does not hide it.
“I am one of the best Tight Ends in the League in terms of routes,” Declared Hockenson. “I am proud to create separation, and that’s what I do on Sunday. There have been times in my career where I had to take up challenges, but I have always managed to bounce back and become a better player than before. »»
This season, the Vikings will be led by the Sophomore, although he did not play any match last season, JJ McCarthy. Drafted a year ago, Minnesota saw in him a quarterback that can be the future of the franchise.
“I have a lot of goals, and they meet my expectations,” added Hochanson. “I obviously want to be the best Tight End in this league. I want to be the best player in this league, but I also try to be the best teammate possible. »»
TJ Hockenson is already optimistic with his new young quarterback. The latter’s style reminds him of his best years, with Matthew Stafford, when he was with the Lions, as well as with Kirk Cousins, in his best statistical season.
“JJ looks very much like Staff and a little in Kirk,” said Hockenson. “It all depends on the trajectories and what we do. “I want you to be here at that time, but at the same time, I want you to stand out. I’ll trust you. »»
This season, the Vikings will aim to return to Playoffs. Last season, Minnesota had made a superb regular season with Sam Darnold without passing the first round of the playoffs.
