HEESCH – The Heesche Badminton Association (HBV) is doing well. The club is becoming increasingly popular and regularly welcomes new members. This growth brings new opportunities. For years, all HBV teams played at the Bossche Badminton Federation (BBF), a regional union that the association is satisfied with.

Now that the club is growing, the board wants to offer members more challenges. That is why HBV has made an important decision: two teams are going to play competition for a season at Badminton Nederland, the rural badminton association.

From the 2025/2026 season, HBV 1 and HBV 6 will play in the midweek competition of this union. This offers the players interesting benefits. Even though they continue to play in their own region, they get access to more different levels and can play against stronger and diverse opponents. This way the badminton players can further develop their game.

The other ten teams just keep playing at the familiar BBF. This is how HBV combines the best of both worlds. This step helps the association to continue to grow and offer all members the play options that suit them.
