Beyond individual coaching, he also served as the sub-captain for the Argentine Davis Cup team, demonstrating his understanding of team dynamics and high-pressure international competition.
Reflecting on his journey, the new Head Coach shared his initial connection with Rafael Nadal: My relationship with Rafa began when I was in the circuit. He was a newcomer who had to be followed closely and, quickly, became a star.
He further elaborated on how this relationship evolved: And yes, then I trained some of his rivals and friends, and that was how we began to build a small relationship. Then he invited me to join the Academy in the position of Head Coach and also to integrate into the Jaume Munar team before ending helping him in his last two years of tennis career.

The Academy’s organizational chart is also seeing key appointments. Tomeu Salvá will serve as Technical Co-Director, working directly with the new Head Coach.
