The reigning world champion Germany has made it into the European Championship semi-final. In the end, the Germans were only able to prevail against Slovenia.

The German national basketball team won the last quarter-finals at the European Championship against Slovenia with 99:91. This is the reigning world champion in the semi -finals, which is due on Friday.
The Slovenes won the first quarter with 32:21. The second quarter then went to Germany (24:19), the third quarter was able to shoot and decide for themselves at the last second (25:23). In the last quarter, too, the Germans were stronger (29:17) and were able to secure the move into the semi -finals.
