France – Iceland
In France, in addition to Mbappé, there were also basic places for Bradley Barcola, Marcus Thuram and Michael Olise. The latter interpreted a negative leading role after 21 minutes of play, by just handing in the ball. Andri Guðjohnsen benefited from this, and signed for the surprising 0-1.
Only in the 45th minute, France came alongside. Mbappé was allowed to install from eleven meters, and did not fail. In the second half, the French took the lead diligently. They found it in the 62nd minute, via Barcola. More than five minutes later, Real Madrid midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni Rood received, but Iceland was unable to stunt. It seemed like that in the final minutes, but a second goal from Guðjohnsen was eventually rejected due to an alleged violation.
Serbia – England
Where France was difficult on Tuesday evening, the same did not apply to England. The Three Lions In Belgrade really had nothing to fear from Serbia. After the opening goal of Harry Kane in the 33rd minute, it really went on walking. Former PSV member Noni Madueke signed for the 0-2, and Ezri Konsa and Marc Guéhi for the 0-3 and 0-4.
