Football Association Supporter Role – Part-Time

We are looking for
An enthusiastic, sporting and committed colleague with a passion for sports and football in particular. You know where to find your way in the club life in The Hague where you offer support on various themes with the aim of strengthening the associations. In addition, you encourage the daily sports and exercise offering on and around schools for all pupils and you enthusiastically enthusiastic to work out structurally.

What does the position look like?
As an association supporter you work at and for sports clubs from The Hague. This will in any case be football clubs, but other sports clubs are also possible. The aim of the position is that you support the clubs and thereby strengthen in the field of a number of themes, namely: Framework development (development of trainers), member recruitment, binding and conservation, volunteer policy, open club and a positive sports culture (more info about the themes can be found here). You make contact with the associations, start the conversation and find out where the support needs are exactly. In consultation with the club you determine what the focus will be on and with which projects you will get to work. Together with the board, members of the technical committee and the trainers, you ensure that these projects are set up from head to tail and of course successfully completed. In addition, you organize after -schools sports offering in primary education schools to inspire children to get structurally moving. Your sport will be useful during these activities.

Eventually everything comes together; Your work at clubs and schools result in strong associations and connections with educational and neighborhood organizations, involved parents and more youth members. What can you think about?

  • You keep track of the development of trainers and train a new framework, for example by providing internal training at the association in collaboration or in coordination with colleagues and the KNVB.

What do we expect from you?

  • MBO 4 work and thinking level, qualifications for example ROC Sport and Exercise Level 4, CIOS or an HBO study (preferably Sport-related).
  • It is an advantage if you have a KNVB Trainers diploma such as KNVB VC-1 Pupillen/Juniors or higher, preferably with a (football) framework Coach training.
  • Knowledge of the sports association world, preferably the Hague.
  • Demonstrable experience with the development of sports training and guidance of a technical framework.
  • Declaration of behavior (VOG).
  • Two or three evenings per week available for association support (depending on appointment size) and occasionally on Saturday morning.
  • Three or four afternoons available for giving after -school sports offer (depending on the appointment size).
