Fébus Archers: France Route Guide

Archery sports club and shooting school, with the first arrows in the fall of 1994, while inter-municipal local authorities were formed, including that of L’Achez-Montanères (municipalities of the Pyrénées-Atlantiques and Hautes-Pyrénées), the association Les Archers de Fébus is still active. Since then, proximity and influence have been going as far as national competitions.

In proximity, loyalty to the association forum organized in Vic by the town hall, and, as recently at the end of the month of August, participation in the France 2025 course, edition in Trémolat in Dordogne. The president of the archers, Sylvie Cuyaubère, in a team of 8 in competition, and 6 medals garnered! Gold for Sébastien Bedu, Xavier Brulin and the president; Money for Michel Curco and bronze in Gérard Dabadie. Great performances despite an uncommon weather bulletin, while in Vic, Soleil and Grand Bleu for the forum, date from the transition from season to season.

Then Fébus or Phoébus, Gaston Comte de Foix, lord of Béarn, medieval prince of Gascogne and Languedoc is still on these lands of Montanère and elsewhere with the archery club. Back to school, with the resumption of training, is scheduled this Friday, September 12 at the Rural Home in Montaner: from 5.30 p.m. for children and 8 p.m. for adults.
