After two closed -door matches at the Diochon stadium, FC Rouen returns to its supporters this Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 6 p.m. on the occasion of the reception of Châteauroux for the 5th day of National.
Deprived of its audience since the opening of the national season, FC Rouen has served its penalty of three closed -door matches (including the last meeting of the previous exercise), due to irresponsible behavior in the stands during the QRM – FCR derby of April 18.
Despite the disability of deserted spans at the Diochon stadium for the first two home trips to the new championship, the Red Devils were efficient: after an inaugural draw frustrating against the promoted Fleury (1-1), there was the shine at the expense of the tenor Sochaux (success 3-1).
A very successful match against the lion cubs, a reference match, already. Validated by a sensational victory last Friday in the field of another favorite for the climb, Valenciennes: 2-3, thanks to a double of the Capverdian playmaker Kenny Rocha Santos in the last 5 minutes.
The team of coach Régis Brouard therefore presents himself with full confidence, undefeated and at the foot of the podium (with equal points with Dijon), against the miraculous Châteauroux. The Indre club, penultimate last season, owes its salvation only to a draft linked to the administrative demotion of Martigues.
Classified in 13th row, Châteauroux chained three draws to start his season (including a 0-0 at home against Valenciennes as Introduction) before falling 0-1 in his Gaston-Petit stadium against Orleans.
