Bethany England wins from the penalty spot to the Hammers in the first game of the Spurs campaign.
A late penalty made the difference between Tottenham and West Ham in the second London derby of the day.
The captain shot from the penalty spot in the 86th minute after Eveliina submissions were demolished by the Hammers captain, Katrina Groured, giving the new coach Martin Ho a 1-0 victory in her first game in charge.
First victory of the Spurs in the League since January.

The truth is that there was not much difference between the teams throughout the game, since the goalkeepers were rarely tested.
The first half did not generate many goal occasions, with just a couple of distant shots for both teams.
Almost at the end of the first part, a corner was not sufficiently clear in the local area and the shooting of Groury fell Shekeira Martínez inside the area, but his shot was blurred brilliantly by the goalkeeper Lize Kop.
Jess Naz shot over the arch moments later, before having another great opportunity for Hammers at the beginning of the second half, when Piubel would be caught a center on the second stick, but shot over the crossbar.
England is differential again for spurs
The West Ham goalkeeper, Kinga Szemik, had to be replaced moments later after falling awkwardly by stopping a shot by Drew Spence that seemed to go to the squad.
The locals continued to persevere, with Kit Graham exerting a great influence by the left wing on their return to competitive football after more than a year of low due to a knee injury.
With a lot of equality between both contenders, the chess game raised by Ho and Skinner seemed to end in tables, with long possessions that alternated on both sides of the board, but without danger actions in the areas.
Finally the goal would arrive four minutes from the end. England scored from eleven meters despite the fact that the West Ham’s alternate goalkeeper, Megan Walsh, came to touch the ball with his hands.
A second penalty was requested moments later, when Ffion Morgan, from West Ham, seemed to touch the ball with his hand inside the area when clearing a corner, but the referee decided to follow the game.
Without time for more, the three points stayed at home.
