On Thursday, September 4, the Domo Group of Irene Badminton kicked off the season with an outing at Joules de Boules association ‘Les Boulettes’ in Bunnik.
After arrival there was coffee with cake and it was explained how the ‘real’ rules of Jeu de Boules are and they are really different from a game at the campsite. After the explanation, the draw teams of two people were formed and the first round, which lasted about 45 minutes, was played. After the first round there was coffee again and new teams were formed and a second round played. In the end Evert Ketting turned out to be the winner of the morning. Partly due to the good organization of the volunteers of Les Boulettes and the sunny weather, the weather was a successful kick -off of the new season.
