As expected, Mahamadou Diawara will find an exit door in Belgium where the transfer market is open until Monday, September 8. In lack of playing time under the orders of Paulo Fonseca (20, under contract until 2028), the midfielder of Olympique Lyonnais will leave Ligue 1 to join the Royal Antwerp.
The operation will take the form of a paid loan of 250,000 euros with an option to purchase 3 million euros and a percentage of 15 % on the capital gain of a future sale. According to our information, the Belgian club will cover the entire salary of the player trained at PSG.
Mahamadou Diawara has to pass his medical examination this Sunday before committing to his new team which points to sixth place in Jupiler Pro League after six days.
