The FC Red Bull Salzburg releases Adam Daghim.
The 19-year-old Dane will be awarded to VfL Wolfsburg in the German Bundesliga until the end of the season.
The attacker moved from Aarhus GF to Salzburg in 2023, where he initially ran for FC Liefering. In spring 2024, Daghim moved into the first team of the Salzburg, in 56 missions he was responsible for six goals and five assists.
“Want only players who go our way”
Rouven Schröder, Salzburg’s managing director Sport, says to the loan: “Adam and his management have been approaching us several times recently and have made it clear to us that another commitment for him in Salzburg is out of the question and that a change has an absolute priority. We have always emphasized that we only want players who fully get involved in the club and have taken our way, which is why we have agreed.”
Daghim gets the number of number at Wolfsburg. “I am really looking forward to the time at VfL Wolfsburg. The Bundesliga is a big step and an exciting challenge for me. I would like to quickly find my place in the team here, learn a lot and contribute to my qualities that we are successful together,” he is quoted on the “Wolves” club website.
VfL sports director Sebastian Schindzielorz says: “Adam is a young offensive talent with a lot of potential. His versatility, paired with its immense speed, makes it particularly valuable for our offensive and unpredictable for the opponent. We are convinced that he can develop here at VfL and help us immediately.”
