ALGER — Seven (7) female basketball clubs, including the Algerian representative Cosider, confirmed their participation in the 26th edition of the 2025 Arabic championship, scheduled from September 10 to 19 in Al-Madinah al-Munawarah, Saudi Arabia, following the list of commitments, unveiled on Saturday evening by the organizers.
The other six clubs engaged in this competition are: Al-Ula (Saudi Arabia), Chabab Al Fahis (Jordan), Al Fatat (Kuwait), Al Karine (Kuwait), Sharjah (United Arab Emirates) and Al Hala (Bahrain).
The previous edition, disputed in 2024 in Jordan, was won by the local club of Al Fahis, in front of the Saudi training of Al Ula, when the Algerian representative, Cosider, had finished on the third step of the podium.
In addition, the 37th edition of the Arab club championship (gentlemen) will take place from September 25 to October 6 in Dubai (United Arab Emirates), in the presence of sixteen teams.
