Champions League: BVB Draw & Terzić’s ‘Adult Football’ Plea

Juventus Turin and BVB have an eight-goal spectacle in the Champions League. The Borussia conceded two goals in added time and makes its goalkeeper really angry with it.

Borussia Dortmund already had the victory. The BVB led 4: 2 after a very strong appearance in the third minute of stoppage time at Juventus. Then Ramy Bensebaini played a fatal bad pass and invited Turin to the third goal. Afterwards, the Dortmunders failed to claim the ball in half of the Italians. Juventus was able to counter a counterattack in the sixth minute of stoppage time and scored 4: 4 with the last action of the game.

It was the end of a completely crazy game that had started very tired. There were hardly any chances in the first half, both teams played waiting. A completely different picture offered the fans after the break.

Karim Adeyemi (52nd minute), Felix Nmecha (65.), Yan Couto (74.) and Ramy Bensebaini (86./handelfmeter) met for BVB, Kenan Yildiz (63.), Dusan Vlahovi? (68./90.+4) and Lloyd Kelly (90.+6), however, equalized for Turin.

“We can’t let anything burn”

“We have to win the game one hundred percent. We have to stand well at the back and don’t let anything burn. We are definitely disappointed. When we got it 3: 4, I thought that nothing happens. But then we get the balance,” said Karim Adeyemi, who had scored the first goal for BVB.

BVB goalkeeper Gregor Kobel was particularly victim of the two mistakes in added time. He was correspondingly annoyed after the game: “We are not allowed to get two goals in added time, which is very clear. We could have scored three important points, we have to win here. I am of course pissed off that we got four goals here and two of them in added time. We have to bring the game of cool and clarified more. We just have to play adult football.”

“I have to compliment the team. What was not good were the last four minutes. We lose the ball too quickly in front of the fourth goal. We are not allowed to play in our third goal in our own half. It hurts. The rest was very good,” said BVB coach Niko Kovac.
