The watch has an inverted display with a particularly bright LED. The battery life is given as up to five years, but there is no solar charging. As usual with G-Shock, the clock offers shock resistance, waterproofing 20 bar and various time measuring functions, including stopwatch, fully automatic calendar, alarm clock and flash notifications for alarms, hourly signals or timer.
Prices and availability
The GM-5600RH-1 x Rui Hachimura first appears in Japan and will be available this month for 39,600 yen (~ 230 euros). It is delivered in a packaging specially designed for this cooperation. Casio has so far not announced any details of international availability, but since earlier Hachimura editions have also appeared in the USA and other markets, there is a good chance that this edition will also be available globally.
The GST-B100RH, which came onto the market in 2020, started. Since then, every new edition has been based on a different G-shock series: The third cooperation used the classic DW-6900 series, for example, while the 2024 version was based on the GA-B2100.
