If the German club agreed to give it up after the closing of the Mercato in the Bundesliga, it is because Salifou was no longer entering the trainer’s plans: in particular barred by Senne Lynen, he did not appear on the slightest match sheet since the start of the season.

The boy leaves two passages on loan: first in Italian series C with the hopes of Juventus then at Austria Klagenfurt, in the Austrian first division. Two loans where he had established himself as a holder. Salifou now wants to find stability: “I have heard that Mechelen is a club with a lot of tradition and warm supporters. I think it is the ideal step to advance my career”.
The sports director Tom Caluwé Share his enthusiasm: “With his 90 meter, Salifou will bring a solid presence to our midfielder. Dikeni is a modern midfielder, both strong physically and technically gifted. He has demonstrated great potential and we are convinced that he will find the ideal environment at KV Mechelen to continue his development. His versatility and his winning spirit will offer additional options”.
However, the player arrives slightly injured, it is therefore not entirely certain to see him mobilized for the first recovery match, a trip to the standard scheduled for next Friday.
