The autobiography of the now nine -year -old Borg called “Heart Back” is to be released on 18 September. In the annotation on the Amazon portal.it, according to AFP, the challenges of the former tennis player and “the most important, not yet fought, with cancer” are written. According to Expressen, Borg suffers from prostate cancer.
Borg dominated tennis in the second half of the 70s and at the beginning of the 1980s. Six times he won Roland Garros and five times Wimbledon and his popularity was comparable to the stars of the film or popular music.
The player whose sight on the court was long blond hair and headband was 64 titles in singles and was 109 weeks old. He ended his career at the age of 26 in 1983 due to the loss of motivation and his short -term comeback in 1991 ended without success.
Borg returned to the world of great tennis in 2017, when he took the post of captain of the European team in the newly established Laver Cup competition, which he held until last year.
