The girls’ basketball team from Monterrosal College delivered a commanding performance, defeating calasanz de Cúcuta (Norte de Santander) with a decisive 55-33 score. In football, the María currea Manrique IED school dominated their opponents, securing a 7-3 win, while the John F. Kennedy school’s boys’ team clinched a hard-fought 4-2 victory against Cambridge School in Pamplona. While the boys’ basketball, boys’ football, and girls’ volleyball teams faced strong opposition from Norte de santander, the overall performance set a positive tone.

Day two saw Bogotá’s athletes continue their impressive run, notably in the fast-paced world of futsal. the María Currea Manrique IED school’s girls’ futsal team put on an offensive clinic, overwhelming CASD José Prudencio Padilla de Barrancabermeja (Santander) with a staggering 14-2 victory. Not to be outdone, the John F. Kennedy school’s boys’ futsal team secured a thrilling 5-4 win against the same Santander rival.
