Besiktas: Trossard Miss & Belgian Transfer Focus

In Türkiye, the transfer market is still open for some time and the big local clubs want to take advantage of it to make their acquisitions. Besiktas, among others, is looking for reinforcements and several Belgians are in the viewfinder.

The big club of Istanbul is thus looking for a side striker and thinks of Leandro Trossard. The Red Devil has played less in Arsenal in recent weeks, which has prompted Besiktas to try his luck.

After Trossard, it is now Godts which is cited in Besiktas

Trossard does not seem to be interested in a transfer and Besiktas must therefore continue his research. However, the Turkish club would have immediately set its sights on another Belgian striker.

The Turkish media report that Mika Godts would now be in the viewfinder of the club. The young talent of 20 years must be satisfied with a replacement role in Ajax since the start of the season. He only played 55 minutes in the first four championship games, but also missed two games due to an injury.

Ajax replacement

For the moment, coach John Heitinga, however, prefers Raul Moro, recruited this summer, as a left winger. Besiktas hopes that it will encourage Ajax and Godts to accept a transfer. But that remains to be seen.

During the summer, many rumors ran on the departure of Amsterdam Godts, especially towards Naples. But a transfer has never really been considered. Ajax can no longer recruit a replacement, which will not really encourage him to cooperate.
