In tune with the times for a few weeks, it’s now official, Eliesse Ben Seghir leaves AS Monaco joins Bayer Leverkusen.
Arrived in 2020 at the ASM, the young attacking midfielder (20 years old) had made his professionals in professionals one evening in December 2022 in Auxerre where he had delivered the Monegasque club by slamming a double and offered victory to the ASM. Since this hatching, the young Moroccan international will have played 85 games with the diagonal jersey, including 10 in the Champions League, for 15 goals and 8 assists.
Ben Seghir therefore signed up for 5 seasons with Bayer Leverkusen, who followed Akliouche in particular at the start of the summer transfer window. Monaco should recover around thirty million euros in the transaction, not to mention a 5 million bonus and a resale percentage.
After Magassa, Bouabré, Singo and Boadu, he is the 5th player sold during this transfer window. Embolo and salta could complete the list if an agreement is found in the past few hours of the transfer window.
