In a strange incident in an African country, a football match suddenly stopped due to an attack by swarm of bees.
The city of Babati in Tanzania witnessed a match between City FC Abuja and his counterpart, GKUFC, in a preparatory friendly championship.
The players, referees, ball holders, and even one of the photographers were forced to take shelter to lie on the ground in chaotic scenes.
But the match stopped at the 78th minute and the result indicates a 1-1 draw at the Cura Stadium, for a very strange reason, as a large swarm of the bees suddenly appeared on the field.
Immediately, the players from the two teams were forced to lie on their stomachs to avoid bee stings, as did the assistant referee and one of the TV photographers the same.
Even the bench resorted to hiding under the bench, although some of them dealt with the situation in the spirit of humor.
While the fans in the stands remained sitting in their places, the British newspaper “The Sun” indicated that they were probably not realizing what was happening.
