Bayer Leverkusen has to do without a goal scorer for weeks

Patrik Schick will be missing Bayer 04 Leverkusen in the coming weeks. The 29-year-old center forward on Saturday at 2-1 against FC St. Pauli “moved into a fascia injury in the muscles of the rear left thigh”, as the club announced. Schick, who scored three goals in five league games, will be missing at least three weeks.
Bayer captain Robert Andrich had also been replaced with adductor problems against St. Pauli at halftime, but the club today gave the all-clear. The DFB national player did not suffer any structural injury, said Bayer.
