Support and Education Foundation for Basketball (BİDEV) is the fourth pillar of the program, which was implemented with the support of Turkish Philantrphy Fund (TPF) within the scope of ‘Bidev Step for Basketball in Villages’ project; Diyarbakir, Hatay, Malatya, Hakkari, Sanliurfa, Mardin, Ardahan, Batman, Sirnak and Kahramanmaras from the provinces of 30 physical education teachers and infrastructure coaches with the participation of 26-28 September took place in Hatay.
Support and Training Foundation for Basketball, which is established with the aim of contributing to the training of qualified basketball players in Türkiye and to support basketball sport, has been implementing the education and development program since 2022 in order to maximize the professional and technical development of professional trainers who have their hearts to the basketball branch. Within the scope of the program, Derya Özyer, Murat Özyer, Emre Mahmut Şimşek, Mehmet Altıoklar and Nilsen Özbarlas were given ‘Basic Techniques Training’ and ‘Social and Emotional Skills’ trainings covering the subjects of communication, team spirit and leadership with children and young people in order to facilitate teaching basic basketball techniques. On the third day of the program, feedback negotiations were provided through applied training sessions and coaches.
