Football fans of Ostrava this time did not sell the Olomouc northern grandstand completely, but they were great again. Loud, passionate and devoted to Baník. Already before the match they occupied part of the local restaurant Drápal. They had something to discuss with Pilsen. “The beginning of the season is embarrassed. Shopping is not,” Mirek summed up in the blue jersey.

Sales of the key midfielders of Ewerton, Modná and Riga without the appropriate compensation did not lift his mood. “But even without them, we managed to win last season, it will work. Perhaps,” he hopes.

It is not possible yet. Not even in Olomouc. In the mutual great backdrop more than nine thousand spectators, the perfect chip of the Mac at the high pace he entertained. Baník did not score again and lost 0: 1. The first half belonged to the domestic, attacked like wasps, the Baníkovci were others everywhere.

For example, at a single goal in 13 minutes. The Ostrava stoper of the Pojezný played at his own lime, and Sigmák Nightingale stabbed him the ball. Langer moved him to the wing to Navrátil, who found the shooter Vašulín, who decided the league classic with a spectacular foot.

“Sigma was clearly better in the first half, we were vain, inaccurate, we were losing a lot, some running performances were deplorable,” said Ostrava coach Pavel Hapal.

At half -time he withdrew from Holzer, and Tiahi. It helped. Although the second half belonged to the guests, but not even 25 centers into the lime and several dangerous missiles did not levy, the Olomouc Čahoun in the gate Jan Koutný was bulletproof, fantastic, agile.

“We improved it, we were moving, we have developed enough opportunities to not lose the match. From the second half we have to get stuck, it has been on our side parameters,” Hapal said. “I don’t have an explanation for the first half, the boys have to think about it.”

Will he catch Slavia?

A grumpy mood was affected in Ostrava. Not only for faithful fans, but also for players or coaches. It was illustrated by a post -match press conference.

Will you play for Baník even after a national break?

“Ask our leadership,” exhaled the striker Erik Prekop, who at the end of the transfer window is striving Slavia. Champions League participant who can evaluate players well. It’s hard to say no.

But Baník can hardly agree to sell further support. Even the conciliatory Mirek at the beer would probably not breathe. Or will they eventually let go?

“That would be a sale,” Hapal shooks.

And also a retreat from the ambitions, hard -fought positions.

After the defeat in Olomouc, the precipitated at times just smiled bitterly. Or he looked at the spokesman of Mark Lorence, perhaps to help him find the appropriate loyal words on the questions that were difficult to answer.

“I’m thinking about how to name it so it doesn’t sound bad. It was a very lucrative offer for all parties, it didn’t happen,” said the precipitant honestly. “Of course I was thrown out of it. There were a lot of attractions. When you learn that it didn’t work out. I don’t say that I would run away.”

Baník, who got into the European Cups under Hapal for two consecutive seasons and, as a league pike, was in a fierce applause between the Czech top even in third place, he has an embarrassing setting into the new season. More precisely – a pretty bad start.

In the league five matches, four points, thirteenth place. The view of the table is distorted by two deferred matches, but it still looks at the Ostrava in Ostrava.

“I’m not looking at the table. We’re losing, we don’t win,” Hapal said.

“I can’t evaluate it positively, we all imagined the beginning of a completely different way. Given the lot, we thought it was nice, that we should have points at least twice as much,” Prekop painted.

How is it different?

“Four players left the basic line -up. The team is sitting, constructing,” continues the Slovak hipper. “When the team is used to something, it is not always possible to change it from week to week.”

There are no longer Hapal’s boys in Europe, they did not penetrate the conference league through the Slovenian Celje, which is a failure, although Celje has shown considerable strength.

Even more, after the end of Europe, Baník said goodbye to the backup – Matěj Šín moved to Alkmaar and Tomáš Rigo to Stoke. Add to this the summer transfer of Brazilian Ewerton to the Egyptian club Pyramids FC, you get over 200 million crowns, but also into sports decline.

Problem is not sales but arrivals

“I will work until I can work in Baník. Sales of crazy, Riga, Ewerton are not my decision, I will not affect it,” Hapal says.

The problem is not that Baník has moved his best players for better and straight abroad, on the contrary, it is a nice business card for the whole club, especially in the case of a mad man who has already helped Alkmaar assistance to win on Sunday.

“I’m glad for that,” Hapal nodded. “It is a card of the whole club that our players are interested. But it has not ended yet. There is also another interest,” he points out.

What to say? We talk about it from the right from the left, but nothing happens. It is a question of leadership. The coach trains.

Pavel Hapal, coach of football Ostrava about reinforcements

The problem is that Hapal has not yet welcomed adequate compensation necessary to ensure that Baník does not clean up the hard positions in the last two years.

“What to say? We’re talking about it from the left, but nothing happens,” he said. “It’s a question about leadership. The coach is training.”

He doesn’t make an alibi, and it’s not surprising if you add the pillars to the injured Kubal, Almási and Kohút.

“You can feel it, we got 30 goals from last season,” the precop counts. “Good players and boys, their contribution on the pitch, and in the cabin were big.

Hapal adds, “To tell the truth, replace not only these three players, but still Kohúta and Kubal, these are great losses. It will have birth pains.”

I talked to the boys from Olomouc, they change in three cabins, there are 34, 18 of us.

Erik Prekop, striker of Baník Ostrava

Baník did not even fill the bench, two places remained free. What contrast compared to Olomouc, which after the new owner has brought ten reinforcements, and so they must send players to the grandstand. And it is still targeting the Jablonec ram or Ghali Liberec. Tens of millions are rolling from Haná.

In Silesia it is different now.

“I talked to the boys from Olomouc, changing in three cabins, there are 34, 18 of us,” compares the precop. “We can pay for that, we can realize for strength. But we are no longer able to handle the matches that we have managed last season, when we were not always a better team, but we were able to grab it. I hope it turns it.

The strength in the team is. What about the ambition?

It certainly does not enjoy the owner of Baník Václav Brabec. He has to evaluate with his management whether he will not consider ambitions and instead of expensive purchases do not build up promising players from the reserve. Or they invest the finances back in the cadre, difference guys.

“That’s a question about leadership,” the precop says.

“It will depend on what Baník is expecting. We have a lot of quality boys in the B’s. They have to declare what our journey is. Three years were amazing, the last two excellent. Replace these three players from our hatchery,” Hapal realizes.

The contract with the management and setting other goals will only happen now. “We were waiting for how we would be implemented in Europe,” the coach explains.

Hapal very good knows how hard it was to get demanding fans and how fickle they could be their favor. “The fans have been amazing for three years since I have been here. It took a long time, or it takes me to get them to my side for a long time. This was the team’s results. They always help us,” he appreciates the support.

Also in Olomouc Ostrava fans on the start of the team on the playground of the choir, how they are with Baníček, how they will never leave it when you had goose bumps.

But they can rather ask: Bančka, what’s the matter with you?

At first they managed to keep support, but after Celje the house began to pour. At the same time, with sports manager Luděk Miklošek, who held Hapla several times, when he went from narrow to thin seasons, coach created a coordinated tandem, what is on one ship. The fans cooked tasty dishes. Now they open the refrigerator and nothing. Will they get permission to go shopping at the last minute?

Not that no one came. Frýdek, Plavšič and perhaps even Tiahi will be better from the match. But that’s not enough.

“Plavšič was supposed to be in the first half under the tip together with Frýdek, we were not doing well,” Hapal evaluated after Olomouc. “You can see that Plavša is not yet completely in the top. He has not played for a long time, he will need time, but the footballer is great.”

The precipit also emphasizes that they see the strength in the current Baník team considerable. “I advocate that the strength in the team and the individual quality is huge. All of them are footballers. Some have a possibility to decline in form. We may reduce the width of the cadre.”

The precop is trying to maintain the right mentality, leave everything on the pitch. But sometimes the thoughts of transfer to Eden are creeping into the head. “Unfortunately, this brings football life. If I was drilling in it, it would hurt me and a team that I owe to me that it is interested in me,” he says. “I wouldn’t help anyone by sulking, negative behavior, I would rather hurt the boys and that’s the last thing I want. We are professionals and we have to behave.”

She did not lift the prekop nor the nomination of the Slovak national team, where it is only among the substitutes. “I get great questions,” he breathes. “I thought I would be in the national team. Also disappointment. The last days were not quite cheerful. But it is necessary to work on and believe that I may be in the next nomination.”
