The first edition of the Argentine High Performance Games promises to be a great sports party that will link Argentina in the province of Santa Fe. Rosario as the main headquarters, and the cities of Santa Fe Capital and Rafaela as sub -fields will be the epicenter of the best of the Olympic and Paralympic sport of the country that will compete simultaneously from Tuesday 9 to Sunday 14.
The Jadar will bring together more than 2,500 athletes which will compete in 55 disciplines (41 Olympic and 14 Paralympic). The athletes will be accompanied by hundreds of coaches and a staff of more than 500 judges, guaranteeing competitiveness at the highest level.
Rosario, Santa Fe and Rafaela will offer the necessary infrastructure to house this wide variety of competences. The Jadar will have delegations from the 24 districts of the country, and the presence of the best high performance exponents ensures an extremely attractive contest.
Headquarters and disciplines
In Rosario 44 disciplines will be developed:
Fairground (former rural): Taekwondo, for taekwondo, judo, for judo, weightlifting, for weightlifting, table tennis, for table tennis, karate, boxing, beach volleyball and beach handball.
Municipal Stadium: Athletics, for athletics, artistic skating and speed skating.
Racecourse: 5 baseball and archery.
Science Square: 3 × 3 basketball.
Gymnastics and Fencing Club: Hockey, Rugby 7 and tennis.
Club Atlético Newell’s Old Boys: Handball, sports shot and for sports shooting.
Club Atlético Rosario Central: Bádminton and wheelchair basketball.
Provincial: In central headquarters, artistic gymnastics, trampoline gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, struggle, Wushu Kungfu and Boccia; In country headquarters artistic swimming and aquatic pole will be played.
University: Fencing.
Jockey Club: Golf, equestrian, for modern equestrian and pentathlon.
Hurricane: Ball.
Sportivo Avellaneda nautical: volleyball.
Pueyrredón Squash: Squash.
City Museum: Chess.
In Santa Fe Capital, six disciplines will be developed: rowing and for rowing, booting and for boothing in the Setúbal Laguna, with the emblematic suspension bridge as a background scenario. While triathlon and triathlon will have as a landscape the setúbal lagoon and the waterfront.
In turn, Rafaela will receive five specialties. Cycling Route and for Cycling Route will be played on National Route 34; Track cycling and for cycling Track will be carried out at the Héctor Cassina Velodrome, while Mountain Bike cycling will be held at the local autodrome facilities.
