Last Sunday 14 September, at the Casentino Golf Club in Poppi, the regional “country shooting” championships were held, organized by the archers of the Lordship. The best qualified archers from all over Tuscany took part in the event and, for Castiglion Fiorentino, five archers were competing: Jacopo Bennati, Fabio Menci, David Pantini, Katy Parreira and Francesco Mencarini.
The budget could not be more positive: five medals conquered. Jacopo Bennati ranked according to the Olympic Seniores Arco, immediately behind Marco Cesari. Fabio Menci closed in third place in the Olympic Master Arco category and at the same time in third place absolute behind Federico Gargari and Marco Cesari. Katy Parreira triumphed as the first classified Master Arco nude, then climbing also on the absolute podium with a prestigious third place, behind Sabrina Stabile and Argene Sartori.
To complete the day, an important result also for David Pantini, who despite not having climbed the podium reached the score necessary for qualifying the Italian championship, placing himself currently in 35th place in the national ranking.
