The French association said that in the further course of the tournament, Alexandre Sarr from the Washington Wizards could no longer be built. After the cancellation of Victor Wembanyama (San Antonio Spurs) and Rudy Gobert (Minnesota Timberwolves), Sarr’s failure is gaping an even larger gap in the front court of the Head Coach Frederic Fauthoux.
In the first two games of the European Championship, Sarr stood an average of 19.5 minutes on the field and scored 9.5 points during this time, won 4.5 rebounds and blocked a throw per game.
