Sleeping in a stadium, many dreamed of it. ASM Clermont did it. The Auvergne Rugby Club of Clermont-Ferrand (Puy-de-Dôme), which evolves within the national elite (Top 14), inaugurates a unique concept in France: an apartment nestled in the Phliponeau gallery of the Marcel-Michelin stadium, transformed into yellow and blue cocoon with breathtaking view of the lawn.
“We offer a Hyperimmersive experience, not just a hotel night,” we enthuse in the ranks of ASM. For the tidy sum of 3,000 euros per night (4 beds and 4 meals included), the hosts can put themselves in the shoes of a professional player, between visitorship visitors, entry by the top 14 stars and access to the edge of the field during heating. The evening ends with a drink with one of the players in the meeting.
Accessible outside match days, for a much softer rate
For this price, the meal is prepared live by a chef, “a cook who speaks rugby, friendly, simple, in our image”, specifies the club. The apartment, more than 70 m2, was redesigned by the Clermontais collective Le Grand Mess, already the owner of a hotel, bar, restaurant in Clermont-Ferrand: ultramodern kitchen, design lounge and two double bedrooms, all bathed in yellow and blue.
Installed in the old stadium goalkeeper accommodation, this unusual airbnb is also accessible out of match days, for a much softer rate. Visitors can then enjoy an atypical night, alone facing a legendary lawn, with breakfast at sunrise on the Michelin stadium. A first in Top 14.
