[Reported by Dai Meng, a special correspondent of South American Overseas Chinese News]On August 30, the Brazilian Chinese Enterprises Association successfully held the “Mobile Cup” badminton invitational tournament in Sao Paulo, attracting nearly 100 players from 12 teams from 23 Chinese-funded institutions to participate.

The Badminton Invitational Tournament has developed into a brand event of our association, thanks to everyone’s active participation and enthusiastic support. Special thanks to some teams for coming to participate in the competition from thousands of miles away. The popularity of the stadium was ignited before the start of the competition.” He said that Chinese companies emphasize cooperation and mutual assistance in business, and this is especially true in sports. Team spirit and collaboration awareness are important cornerstones for Chinese-funded enterprises to develop in Brazil. Wang Zhuping said: “As soon as I walked into the venue, I saw a lively scene, which made me recall my time on the court when I was in college. Badminton not only strengthens my body, but also a way to communicate and enhance cooperation. Today we got together because of badminton. This is an exchange that transcends the boundaries of the enterprise and an opportunity to deepen friendship.”

Subsequently, Chen Huaibiao, deputy secretary-general of the association and chief representative of the São Paulo representative office of the Agricultural Bank of China, read out the rules of the competition.

For Chinese-funded employees who love badminton, it is a high-quality opportunity to display their sports talents and compete with their fellow students. At the enterprise level, it breaks the organizational boundaries, builds a solid bridge for communication and cooperation for different enterprises, and becomes an important platform for Chinese-funded enterprises to “use the ball as the media and make friends” and promote in-depth exchanges between each other.
