2025 China Sports Expos Kick Off Today – Jilin Network

On September 12, the 2025 China Sports and Culture Expo and China Sports Tourism Expo (hereinafter referred to as the “two expos”) opened at the Suzhou International Expo Center.

The expo is themed “Sports gathering a better life”, with a total scale of 50,000 square meters. It plans 5 major exhibition areas and 1 roadshow promotion area, and a special foreign trade excellent product area. At the same time, it carried out a number of supporting activities such as the promotion of excellent Chinese sports and cultural projects and the promotion of high-quality Chinese sports tourism projects, attracting more than 500 enterprises and units to participate in the exhibition.

At the opening ceremony, Lin Qingfeng, the 2012 London Olympics men’s weightlifting 69kg champion, donated Olympic gold medals to the China Sports Museum on the spot, Volleyball Olympic champion Song Nina, weightlifting Olympic champion Tang Gonghong, Archery Olympic champion Zhang Juanjuan, Judo Olympic champion Yang Xiuli, Gymnastics Olympic champion Deng Linlin and Guo Weiyang, Badminton Olympic champion Zhao Yunlei, Trampoline Olympic champion Dong Dong, Taekwondo Olympic champion Zhao Shuai and Zheng Shuyin, boxing Olympic champion Chang Yuan and Li Qian, badminton world champion Hong Wei, World Games karate champion Gong Li witnessed the scene.

This year’s opening ceremony has a richer content, covering key contents such as robot boxing performances, taekwondo karate performances, martial arts street dance performances, outdoor sports quality route releases, and important academic achievements releases, forming a vivid scene of “interleaving tradition and modernity, symbiosis of science and sports”, and presenting the diverse vitality of sports in all aspects.

The two 2025 expos have a scale of 50,000 square meters. Five major exhibition areas are planned, including sports, culture, sports, and tourism theme exhibition areas, local sports, culture, sports and tourism exhibition areas, special sports projects professional exhibition areas, sports science and technology and service exhibition areas, and national and international group exhibition areas. A roadshow promotion area is set up, and a special foreign trade quality area is specially set up. At the same time, a number of outstanding characteristics, fun and highly participatory supporting activities are carried out.

The two expos received widespread support from all walks of life, with more than 500 units participating in the exhibition, and all sports departments in 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities in the country participated in the exhibition, realizing “great reunion” again. Nearly 20 directly affiliated units of the General Administration and sports associations including the General Administration of Sports, including the Boxing Taekwon Center, Gymnastics Center, Tennis Center, Small Ball Center, Chess and Card Center, Equipment Center, etc., participated in the exhibition.

The exhibition will be from September 12 to 14.
