The Official Gazette of Galicia comes from publishing the resolution of August 12, 2025, which published the granting of places for technification and sports performance groups for the Galician Sports Technification Center (CGTD). As in previous years, the CGTD offered 160 places for technification (3rd and 4th courses of the ESO and 1st and 2nd baccalaureate) and performance. In the resolution published in the Dog, 154 places were granted and now, other eleven come from joining, getting 165 athletes, the highest number in history and that, in addition, it can be increased throughout the season.
More retail, these 165 places are distributed in 105 of technification -90 residents and 15 external- and 60 in performance -12 residents and 48 external-. One more season parity is practically absolute: 83 women for 82 men.
The 165 places are distributed as follows secondly the 13 sports specialties that the CGTD will have in this season: Athletics Species -Siete Plazas (five of technification and two of performance) -, Bádminton -Trecera places (eleven of technification and two of performance) -, judo -doce places (nine of technification and three of performance) -, fight -Quish of performance) -, pure swimming and open waters -Doce squares (eight of technification and four performance) -, artistic swimming -ocho squares of technification-, canoealing -four -year performance)-, triathlon -Right places (nine of technification and four performance)-, sail -fin technification places- and gymnastics-four places (two of technification and two performance)-.
It is necessary to emphasize that this year, for the first time, two girls of 2nd of ESO -Xulia Otero and Maiafreire – are incorporated for their excellent results in Bádminton. In addition, the center will have two athletes with disabilities: Nagore Otero in triathlon and Rocío Fraguela in rowing.

The Galician Center for Sports Technification of Pontevedra (unique in Galicia) was born in 1987-88 with the aim of becoming the reference installation at the sports level in our community, in search of competitive excellence, an excellence that also contemplates, of course, the academic training of athletes in order to achieve their integral formation.
