Campinas, SP, 30 (AFI) – A Black bridge defeated the Londrina 1-0 at the Moisés Lucarelli Stadium, this Saturday, in a match valid for the last round of the first phase of Series C of the Brazilian Championship. The result guaranteed the Campineira team with a victory in its record at this stage, confirming the campaign in the competition.
In the final minutes, Londrina had a chance to draw with a penalty, but missed the opportunity, keeping the score in favor of Ponte Preta. The failure turned out to be decisive for the outcome of the confrontation.

Ponte Preta ended in the vice-leadership, therefore, with the second best campaign of the classification phase. It added 36 points, the same score as the Nautical, third place. But Macaca had more wins – 11 to 10 – than the Pernambuco red. Also, it was just one point behind leader Caxias.
Despite the defeat, Londrina still finished fourth with 30 points, surpassing São Bernardo (with the same 30 points), with the highest balance of goals: 8 to 4.
The game
Ponte Preta dominated the first half and could have gone apra the locker rooms.
