Lutsharel Geertruida has not been found in RB Leizpig’s plans for a while. The former captain of Feyenoord made the switch to the German club in the summer of 2024 and can already move to Olympique Marseille after one season, reports transferero Fabrizio Romano. Earlier this Window Igor Paixão also left for the French city.
The negotiations between RB Leizpig and Olympique Marseille are in full swing, reports the Italian journalist. Geertruida wants to leave Leizpig, while his employer also wants to say goodbye to him. Today he was not in the home duel against Hetheim either with the competition selection.
Geertruida left in August 2024 for twenty million euros from Feyenoord to RB Leipzig. The right back, at the time 25 years old, then had an estimated market value of 32 million euros. In the meantime, that value has dropped to around twenty million euros. The French will have to get deep into the pocket, because Geertruida’s contract runs until mid -2029.
