El Ayuntamiento de Coria pondrá en marcha la nueva temporada deportiva 2025/2026 con más de diez escuelas municipales, a través de la concejalía de Deportes. De esta manera, según el consistorio, se sigue apostando por una actividad física-deportiva segura y continuada, apoyando al deporte local, como herramienta que beneficia la salud y mejora de la forma de vida de los ciudadanos que se practica de manera regular, favoreciendo efectos positivos en el apartado fisiológico como psicológico.
Para ello, en esta próxima temporada se ofertan escuelas destinadas a todas las edades, cuyo plazo de inscripción de algunas se abrirá el lunes 1 de septiembre.
Por un lado, están las escuelas de atletismo-triatlón, organizada por el Club Atletismo y que va dirigida a partir de 7 años; la de baloncesto, del Club Baloncesto Ciudad, a partir de 4 años; la de bádminton , del club local, a partir de 7 años y adultos y la de Escalada, impulsada por el Club GECO de Coria, a partir de 6 años. También se convoca la escuela de fútbol, organizada por el Club Deportivo Coria, a partir de 4 años. A estas escuelas se suman la de fútbol de tecnificación en valores promovida por Cauria Club y de tenis, ambas a partir de 4 años y adultos. La escuela de pádel, de Picky-Padel, se dirigirá a partir de 6 años.
A estas se añaden los cursos de pilates organizados por la Asociación de Pilates y dirigidos a adultos, la escuela de voleibol del Club Voleibol, a partir de 7 años y adultos; la escuela de gimnasia de mantenimiento, promovida por la concejalía de Deportes, abrirá el plazo de inscripción el martes 16 de septiembre, a partir de las 8.00 horas y a las 9.00 horas en Puebla de Argeme y Rincón del Obispo, se realizará de forma on line. Igualmente, la oferta la forman también la escuela de pilates que abrirá el plazo de inscripción el 17 de septiembre, la escuela de multideportes, abrirá el plazo el día 18 y será para edades de 4 a 9 años.
