At Christmas 2023, Everton player Jack Grealish and his girlfriend Sasha Attwood were subjected to a burglary in their own home in Cheshire, England.

Apparently the thieves should have brought jewelry and watches to the value of around one million pounds, according to Daily Mail.

The burglary must have happened on the second Christmas day and there must have been as many as ten people in the house when the incident took place.

“Boxing Day” in England is a big day for football and Grealish himself played match at the time.

Ending the investigation

The thieves brought great values, but the police never found the people behind. Now, a year and a half later, the Cheshire police have closed the case, following what is described as a detailed investigation.

Several English tabloids claim that Grealish and the girlfriend are now “crushed” and fear that the thieves will escape.

“After a detailed investigation of investigators, this case is now closed, and no suspects have been identified. Should information emerge, it will be reviewed by the police, ”the Cheshire police wrote earlier this week.

– a traumatic experience

When the burglary happened in 2023, Grealish took to social media to talk about the incident.

“I can’t describe how crushed I’m over the burglary that took place at my house. My family means everything in the world to me, and nothing is more important than providing their safety. This has been a traumatic experience for all of us, I am just so grateful that no one was injured, ”the football star wrote at the time.

Grealish is owned by Manchester City and has had a residence in Cheshire, which is a popular area for the players in Manchester. He is currently on loan in Everton. He will be out the season.
