HOUTEN Houten is all about a special football party on Wednesday 10 September: Coaches on Tour. From 5 pm to 8 pm Delta Sports ’95 is organizing a large G-football tournament at Sportpark de Kruisboog, where players with intellectual disabilities are central. Under the watchful eye of coaches and arbitrators from professional football, G-teams compete against each other.
The club, founded in 1996, has grown with more than 1500 members into one of the largest sports clubs in the region. ,, Because of its emphasis, Delta Sports distinguishes itself on inclusiveness and education, with a strong place for G-football within the association. Together with field football and indoor football, G-football forms the three pillars of the club. Delta Sports was also one of the first associations in the region to structurally embed G-football. Today, both a youth team and a senior team are active, who train at fixed times and play competitions in a safe and pleasant environment, “says chairman Sander Hummel.

The Delta Sports logo is based on the Greek letter? (Delta), which forms a triangle. This triangle stands for the three pillars of the club: field football, indoor football and G-football. The logo underlines the mission of the association: making football accessible to everyone.
