Bremen Football Association Walking Football starts the game

From the 2025/2026 season, the Bremen Football Association also offers organized play in walking football. The first two tournaments will take place on September 21 at SFL Bremerhaven and on October 12th at TuS Komet Arsten. From now on, teams can register for this.

Walking football (walking football) is a variant of football that aims to play for people over 55 years and for those who are unable to play the traditional game due to lack of mobility or other reasons. Sunday, October 12, 2025, 2:00 p.m. tournament at TuS Komet Arsten (Already fixed participants: SG TuS Komet Arsten/TSG Seckenhausen-Fahrenhorst, TSV Posthausen & Tura Bremen)

The following teams and individual players: Inside can take part in the tournaments.

  • In the premiere season, a game operation for Ü60 player: inside (Ü55 player: inside can be approved on request) offered. In the course of further development, various age groups should be formed analogously to football playing in order to enable younger vintages to participate.
  • It can always be Mixed teams (Women and men) are played.
  • Are eligible to participate:
    • Teams from BFV clubs
    • Teams from NFV clubsif there is the approval of the circle there.

The players: Inside, each must be a member of the club who reported the team for the game. A football game authorization is not necessary. Spielgemonsors are possible.
