Basketball is the media, and the mountains and seas are in love with each other. Recently, the first “Zhejiang-Sichuan East-West Cooperation Cup” basketball league was held in the basketball park in Qingchuan County, Sichuan. 60 teams from Zhejiang and Sichuan provinces made friends through the ball to talk about the feelings of the mountains and seas.
This league adopts the “1+4” innovative model: with the three-person basketball game as the core, it simultaneously carries out four supporting activities: basketball carnival, event entry into scenic spots, special cultural and sports performances, and investment promotion.
During the event, 14 teams in Zhejiang competed fiercely with 46 Sichuan teams. In the end, the men’s team in Gongshu District, Hangzhou won the men’s group championship, and the women’s team in Jinchuan County, Aba Prefecture won the women’s group championship.
According to statistics, the event attracted more than 20,000 people to watch the game, which directly led to nearly 10 million yuan in cultural and tourism consumption. Surrounding the basketball park, the Qingchuan County Specialty Agricultural Products Fair is very popular. Sports events have become a powerful engine to drive regional economic growth and help rural revitalization, injecting new vitality into the development of Qingchuan.
It is reported that the next “Zhejiang-Sichuan East-West Cooperation Cup” basketball league will be held in Deqing County, Huzhou City next year.
