Yantai Summer Sports Meeting: Education & Sports Integration

Working hand in hand in sports integration and growth——The Affairs Center holds the summer sports meeting integrated education event

Jellyfish Network July 2 (Correspondent Xing Xufeng Song Yinhong) On June 27, Yantai Disability Affairs Comprehensive Service Center and Tongde Shuyuan Kindergarten held the “Hand in Hands in Sports, Integration and Growth” Summer Games Integration Education Activity. This activity aims to enhance emotions through fun sports, create a harmonious atmosphere, practice the concept of integrated education, and build an equal and interactive platform for children. More than 30 people participated in the event, including the center’s children and rehabilitation teachers, children and teachers in Tongde Shuyuan Kindergarten.

At the beginning of the sports meeting, when the dynamic melody of the warm-up exercise of “Come on,” resounded throughout the scene, the children immediately turned into leaping elfs – their hands waving lightly to the beat, their feet jumped and moved along the drum beats, and their pink faces flushed with excitement under the light.

In the collaborative dribbling event, the children clamped the basketball back to back in groups, like guarding treasures, and headed towards the finish line in “small steps”; in the fun shooting event, the children tiptoed, squinted their eyes, and threw the basketballs into the basket with their little arms. The basketballs fell into the basket one after another, which caused cheers in an instant. In the colorful sports, children not only let their physical fitness be tempered in running and jump shots, but also let the starlight of team spirit shine brightly in every collaboration, engraving a warm footnote to childhood “Running to the Light”.

This summer sports meet is based on the in-depth cooperation between the center and the park to build a growth stage full of childish fun and warmth. Children learn to understand, respect and be inclusive in fun sports, and also exercise their physical fitness and teamwork skills. From interesting competitions to gift presentation ceremony filled with applause and laughter, to the warm ending group photo session, each carefully designed process carries love and expectation. This summer, let us witness the children grow up hand in hand in sports, and integrate and enjoy together!
