After several months of uncertainty, Valentin Rémy finds familiar land. The 25 -year -old midfielder officially committed herself in early June with FC Challans, a resident of National 3, a club he knows well for having played there between 2021 and 2023.
Without a club since its termination of contract with La Roche Vendée Football (N2) in November 2024, Rémy did not completely cut with football. Pending a new project, he had joined FC La Garnache, where he evolved under the orders of his father, coach of the first team. During this period, FC Challans, interested, could not offer him a federal contract.
Trained at the Montpellier Hérault Sport Club, with which he won the Gambardella Cup in 2017, Valentin Rémy then continued his career in the Iberian peninsula before returning to France and climbing the ladder in the national championships, notably distinguished under the colors of the Herbiers during the 2023-2024 season (25 games, 9 goals, 3 assists). A convincing passage which had led him to the Roche Vendée Football, before the adventure turned short.
Back in an environment which he masters, Valentin Rémy now hopes to fully relaunch his career. FC Challans, for its part, is focusing on its experience and creativity to boost the midfield and play a major role in the N3 championship.
