As usual Paris, as usual the Champs-Elysées … yes but not as at all as usual. For its last stage, the Tour de France will seek the popular Parisian fervor and rekindle that of the Olympic Games via the Montmartre Butte and its famous rue Lepic. In an atmosphere that promises to be crazy, runners will make three loops in the 18th arrondissement before spinning on the fields for a last arrival which should, this time, offer us a massive sprint.
Note that this is the 50th anniversary of the first arrival of the Tour de France in the Champs-Elysées.

“The big novelty you know, it’s a way to celebrate the first arrival on the field, the 50th anniversary. We saw with the games that we could have something different and we will therefore go up three times in the sacred heart. It must stir up the lusts of classic runners, especially since it is pavement. But some sprinters can pass, but there will be damage in the peloton.
