Ghanaian footballer Thomas Partey, whose contract has just ended at the beginning of the month with the English club Arsenal, was charged for five rapes out of two women and for sexual assault on a third, British police announced on Friday. The facts would have occurred between 2021 and 2022.
According to the press release sent by the Metropolitan Police, this charges follows an investigation started in 2022, after the police received a first report for rape. Thomas Parte will appear before the Westminster Court of First Instance on August 5, the British police say.

He has fully cooperated with the police throughout their three -year investigation.
