It was on June 30 this year that the local police and officials from the Ministry of Education in Uttarandit in Thailand made an emergency visit to the cabin that the boy lived in. This after a principal at a local school advised the children’s rights activist Paveena Hongsakul that the boy’s 46-year-old mother and 23-year-old brother both tested positive for drugs.

When they came to the cottage, they found the eight -year -old boy with his brother and mother. Paveena Hongsakul describes the meeting as hard when the boy did not talk but only barked.

Forbade their children to play with the boy

In addition, the eight -year -old had gone to school and neighboring families had also become so angry at their mother’s behavior that they banned their children from playing with the son.

This led to him only sitting at home with the family’s six dogs as a company. The lack of contact from people caused him to began to mimic the behavior of animals, including their barking.

On site at the cottage, the authorities decided to drive the boy to an orphanage. Paveena Hongsakul follows the case to ensure that he receives the right care.

– The boy will have a chance for a good life, she says, according to The Sun.

The mother had previously received grants from the state for the son to be able to attend school.

– After she got the money, she simply kept them, says Paveena Hongsakul.
