Stars & Caravans: Delon, Ventura, Cruise, Schwarzenegger

Slideshow – The largest cycling race on the planet has continued to attract celebrities over the decades.

A survey carried out by the Odoxa Institute last January showed that the Tour de France was the most anticipated sporting event by the French in front of the Six Nations tournament. The event was acclaimed at 26%in front of the annual high mass of rugby (25%) and the Roland-Garros tournament (22%). The years pass but the centenary test (in 2013) does not lose its brilliance, in France but also around the world with a retransmission in 190 countries.

A fame that necessarily attracts the greatest celebrities, whether French or international, for decades. From Alain Delon, who had followed a stage on a motorcycle, in Lino Ventura, a large bicycle lover, passing by Cameron Diaz who came with Tom Cruise to promote a film, back on these stars that set foot on the big loop over the decades.
