PSG Transfer News: Vimoj to Ligue 2 – Details

Vimoj Muntu wa Mighgu, a 20-year-old left-back recently released by Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), is reportedly set to join Guingamp, a team that finished 5th in France’s Ligue 2.The move would see Mighgu return to the Brittany region of France.

Mighgu’s career has seen him loaned to Torino, after which he returned to PSG, where he featured in a handful of games for their reserve team. He also boasts four appearances for the French U19 national team. PSG opted not to renew his contract this summer, making him a free agent. This situation is similar to many young prospects in major European clubs, where competition for first-team spots is fierce, and players often seek opportunities elsewhere to gain valuable playing time.
