On Wednesday, July 2, the third round of this year’s “pavement ball” championship will take place on Kristaps Porzģģis basketball on the Daugava.
After the first two rounds, teams are starting to take on the finals, but the “Kurzeme” stage of the shopping center can still be crucial in the standings table. As a result, intense and emotional battles in all age groups are expected on Wednesday night.
As a reminder, there will be six stages this year, giving everyone the opportunity to try their hand at street basketball. The final of the championship – the sixth round, which will take place on August 20 at the CP Square, will be attended by only the top four teams in each age group to determine the 2025 champions in the semi -finals and finals.
Along with the team competition, the third finalists will be determined at this stage in the Mastery and 1V1 competitions. In the finals in these disciplines, players will fight for the main prize – 100 EUR gift card provided by the shopping center “Kurzeme” and SPB “Sports Bode”.
Applying for the competition will be possible on the day of the race 1 to 1.5 hours before its start, so the application will take place from 16:30 to 17:00 in the T/C ” Kurzeme ”. The stage will take place in Kristaps Porzģģis Square in the reserve varnish of the Daugava Stadium. The entry fee for U-99 age groups for men and women from the team is 10 EUR, whether three or four players play in the team. In all youth age groups, the entry fee is 5 EUR, thus contributing to the development of this sport directly among young people.
