The 2025 European Championship is around the corner and, in this sense, Paulo Freitas announced the Portuguese squad list to compete in the competition that will take place on walls, between September 1 and 6, 2025.
In the call consisting of ten players, there are surprises and premieres because from this lot, four athletes can add the first internationalizations of career.
Guga Bento, goalkeeper of AD Valongo, is the youngest in the group. The International Young For Portugal is called to join the group that will follow for the race, after having sacred European champion by the U23.
In addition to the young guardian, Rafa Bessa, Miguel Rocha, Alvarinho and Luís dear can debut in the national team.
It is recalled that the Portuguese group lost the last edition of the European Championship before Spain, which won the trophy against its supporters in 2023.
