Para Badminton: Free Wiesbaden Taster Day

The Hessische Badminton Association cordially invites everyone interested to the para badminton practice day. On August 24, 2025, players with physical disabilities have the opportunity to train under professional guidance in Wiesbaden – free of charge, inclusive and full of fun.

On Sunday, August 24, 2025, para badminton practice for players with physical disabilities will take place in Wiesbaden. In the Wettinerstrasse sports hall, the participants get the opportunity to try out para badminton from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or to develop their technology in a targeted manner.

The workshop is headed by Michael Mai, A-coach and former national coach Para Badminton. As an experienced teacher in the Lower Saxony Badminton Association and member of the DBV teaching team, he brings comprehensive expertise.

What can the participants expect?

  • Varied training with licensed trainers

  • Individually adapted exercises on technology, movement and tactics

  • Individual and double exercises with a focus on game practice

  • Exchange and networking with other para badminton players

The participation is for freePrevious experience is not required. Equipment also does not have to be brought with you – sports wheelchairs and rental strings are available. Participants should only bring sports clothing, indoor shoes and joy in movement. All physical disability classes are welcome, accompanying persons are welcome to be there.
